Are you overwhelmed with curriculum choices and data-driven instruction? Quality teaching involves many interactive components which require the teacher to be the bridge between research and practice. Instead of teaching disconnected approaches, high-impact literacy practices establishes a scaffold approach that layers teacher modeling on top of guided practice and independent application. The 2012 Penn State Summer Institute provides an opportunity to explore the latest research, collaborate with experienced educators, and time to create an action plan for the 2012 – 2013 school year. The nationally recognized keynote speakers will identify the instructional strategies that have the greatest impact on student achievement.
